Jason Lange on Main Street, approachable and confident

Selling a home is more than a transaction.

Most people don't wake up one morning and decide to sell a home.

Usually there's a reason.

A growing family. Retirement. A relocation. An inherited property. Helping a parent make a move.

Whatever brings you here, the first step is understanding your options.

Meet Jason

Helping homeowners make confident decisions about what's next.

Jason Lange helps homeowners navigate important decisions involving downsizing, relocation, inherited property, and other major life transitions.

His background includes mortgage lending, mortgage brokerage, mortgage company ownership, and more than two decades of helping buyers and sellers throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

A Twin Cities native, Jason has lived throughout both the east and west metro and has spent much of his adult life raising a family, building a business, and putting down roots in the communities he serves. Those experiences have given him a firsthand appreciation for the financial, practical, and emotional factors that often influence a move.

Over the years, he's learned that most people don't call because they want to sell a house. They call because they're trying to determine the best path forward. Jason's goal is simple: provide clear guidance, honest advice, and help people make confident decisions about what's next.

Why homeowners choose Jason

Calm counsel, careful preparation, considered marketing.

None of this matters if it doesn't make your move easier. Here's what more than 450 closings have taught me about actually doing that well.

01

Strategic guidance

Decisions made with a 30-year view of the market, not a 30-day one. Which means you're not just reacting to today's headlines, you're making a move you'll still feel good about five years from now.

02

Mortgage expertise

A former mortgage company owner who reads every offer like a lender does. What that means for you is fewer surprises at the closing table, and a much clearer read on which offer is actually the strongest one.

03

Pricing insight

Local data, hyperlocal nuance, and the discipline to recommend the right number. So instead of guessing, you'll know exactly where your home stands, and why.

04

Negotiation

Calm, prepared, and steady, especially when things get tense. Which means you won't be the one who caves under pressure at the table, I will have already thought through the moves before the other side makes them.

05

Marketing

Premium photography, story-driven listings, and a buyer-pool worth presenting to. So your home isn't just listed, it's actually seen by the people most likely to want it.

06

Client-first approach

"It was never about commission for him. It was always about my best interest as the client." That's what a client said, and it's still how every conversation starts.

None of this replaces an actual conversation about your situation, it just means that when we have one, it's grounded in real experience, not guesswork.

Common Questions

Answers to questions homeowners often ask first.

What areas does Jason serve?

+

Jason helps buyers and sellers throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, with particular depth in the Twin Cities East Metro and the St. Croix Valley, including Stillwater, Woodbury, Bayport, Cottage Grove, Lake Elmo, Afton, and Hudson, Wisconsin.

How do I know if it's the right time to sell?

+

There's rarely a single right answer, it depends on your situation, the local market, and what you're hoping to do next. Most conversations start with understanding your options, not committing to a decision.

Does Jason work with buyers, or just sellers?

+

Both, and often at the same time. Many clients are selling their current home while also searching for the next one, and coordinating that timing well is one of the more important parts of the process. Jason also works with first-time buyers, relocating families, and investors who are simply buying, without a home to sell first.

What makes Jason different from other Twin Cities agents?

+

A background in mortgage lending, mortgage brokerage, and mortgage company ownership gives Jason a lender's perspective most agents don't have, along with more than two decades and 450 plus closings throughout the metro and western Wisconsin.

Is there any obligation to talk with Jason first?

+

No. Conversations are free, with no pressure and no obligation, whether your move is six days, six months, or six years away.
